Hi,

i'm having some crashes with the arrayToDynArray node, i tried some of the example files and they are also crashing maya when you try to open the file.

Also one way to make it crash instantly, create an arrayToDynArray node and a particleShape and connect the outArray to the deformedPosition.

Maya 2019.2
win10

thanks

Tried that - seems to be fine:

If you can - provide exact steps that lead to crash.

This is on the Maya side. Some changes happened in 2018 and 2019 that led to problems like what you experience with nParticles. Things that used to be fine in the past are now causing trouble.
At the same time - this is incorrect workflow, so Maya developers can argue about it.
But then - things like this shouldn't lead to crash.
I think you should report this issue to Maya devs - it is not SOuP specific.

meh i won't bother reporting this issue to autodesk at that point, all the energy is focused to bifrost now (which is understandable )

also just for my knowledge do you have an idea about these things that changed in maya 2019? And what is causing this.

And if other area could be affected other than particles ?

Not really. Just hit things that used to work before when trying to work around some of the rigidity of the nucleus framework by inserting custom nodes and other stuff in the mix.
