@bobDole  & Thomixioso

Yes, I and another dev at Luma have been hard at work along with a couple of  sharp devs  at Digic Pictures. We've  been collaborating  with Sitni Sati  devs  on  creating  the maya port of FumeFX.   I can't say when  it will be released, but  it is  an exciting leap in  fluid simulation for maya and  we can't wait until it is unveiled for broader use!

I'll see if we can't start up a vimeo channel or something so we can start posting some  buzz worthy  previews soon!

That'll be awesome! Is the rendering within Maya being handled by Maya SW and Mental Ray or are there any plans to provide hooks to more rendering engines like RenderMan?
