Thank you so much! I now see where I was going wrong.

Shatter object with curve components
Hi there,

I'd like to take the cv components of a curve, and convert these to a point cloud which then shatters some geometry.

It seems that it can be done (see shatter example http://www.soup-dev.com/examples2_3.htm), but I can't find it in the example files, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it myself.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks,

Paul

Bounding Object - present but not visible
Well that's embarrassing...thanks for taking the time to help a newbie out (-:

Bounding Object - present but not visible
Why, thank you!

Ah, so then perhaps I have set it up right after all.

I can see how sometimes the visibility of bounding objects would not be important, but I can also think of times when it would be useful to see them. Is there a way to make things like boundingObjects and displayComponents visible?

Bounding Object - present but not visible
Hi!

I just discovered SOuP, and I love it right away.

I've installed the most recent version of SOuP into MAYA 2015.

When I create a boundingObject, the node that is created is not visible in the geometry viewport. I can see it in outliner, hypershade, node editor etc. I can tell roughly where it is due to it's effect on my geometry, but the wireframe of the bounding object cannot be seen.

When I open files made by others that feature bounding objects, I can see them, and I can create ones that can be seen.

I've attached a reference file of a scene I have created that exhibits the issue I am having.

Any insight would be appreciated :-)

Paul
