People i have a question about rendering, coz i think ill have probl

i have instanced particles on the obj (grass field ;) )  so i want to render via renderfarm
so i would like to "bake" position/scale/rotation of particles, and i need a tip how to do that with soup?!

I am not sure about your problem here. If you instanced particles then cache them and it will be fine. Or do you mean scattered points with the scatter node ?

yes scattered points, its the same scene from the bug section :)
can i use maya's set initial state on soup?

I think you can use the bake point cloud thingy on the scatter node?! Maybe?!

The easiest way to bake the scattered points are two:
- use the built-in function to convert them to nurbsCurve
- connect the scatter.outPositionPP to particle.deformedPosition or nParticle.deformedPosition, then bake the particles as usual.
