displayDriver
===========
Added support for VP2.

Powerful and configurable locator node that provides many unique options for OpenGL drawing on screen. It can be useful for visualizing rig controls and other scene entities that require (or are related to) more complex logical workflow.
Using IconsDesigner and DisplayDriverManager new icon styles can be created and mass amount of objects can be manipulated easily. Settings/look can be saved to files on disk and brought back at any point later.

Please note that Maya2017 and early versions have some performance/functionality limitations for custom locators:
- performance degradation when displaying many custom locators on screen;
- per-element AntiAliasing is not supported;

For best quality/performance in Maya2017 and early versions, consider using this node in VP1.

I try to import SOuP.so from maya2016_linux_gcc482 in Maya 2016 SP6 and I get a symbol issue: undefined symbol: _ZSt11_Hash_bytesPKvmm.

OS: CentOS 6.8
gcc (GCC) 4.4.7

Any suggestions?

I'm not seeing the shelf-file in this archive, I've been gone for a while so maybe I've missed something? Is the shelf usually still provided with the archive?

@izo: are you asking me, or @pshipkov?

The shelf have been deprecated in favor of menu attached to the main menu bar in Maya.

Thanks for the response Peter,
Does the "connect"-button have a new home, or is it all manual now?

There is much more powerful feature in SOuP called "smartConnect". There is a video in the examples page.
