I am using a pyExpression to load in a .csv file. Just a bunch of point positions. Is there any way to get a vector array out of a pyExpression?

Looks like you can just create a custom attribute and cast the data onto it!

run once in the pyExpression node:
Code:
cmds.addAttr( OS, longName='tempPosArray', dataType='vectorArray' )
And then to set the data:
Code:
cmds.setAttr(OS+'.tempPosArray', type='vectorArray', *( [len(newVertList)]+newVertList ) )
And for integer array:
Code:
cmds.setAttr(OS+'.tempItemArray', type='Int32Array', *[objIndex] )
