Jeremy, thanks for the info- I will try it out.

On another note, you wrote a great asset some time ago called pfxInstancer and I really like it- still works fine in Maya 2018.  Is there a reason you ommitted the 'bud' node and if not, would it be possible for you to add the bud node to that asset without too much trouble ?
