Download the archive.
Unzip it.
run setup.exe (windows)
run setup (linux script)
start Maya.
Load the plugin though the Plug-Ins Manager.
That's it.

Hi, when I run the file "setup.exe", it does not detect my installation of Maya 2017 and checkboxes are not clickable... Do you know what is the problem ?
thx

That is strange.
Can you share more information about your Maya installation ?
Is it on a local drive, or network one.
What version of Windows (i don't think this matters, but still).
Did you install Maya or it is a portable version of it ?

Thanks.

Maya is installed on drive D: (not the Windows drive) but it is a local disk. I have 2 disks with 4 partitions, C: and F: on disk 1 and D: and E: on disk 2.
I already installed plug-ins like Redshift for exemple, and the software has detected my Maya without problem.
It's Windows 10
This is not a portable version, it's Maya 2017 with 4 updates

thanks for help

Will verify if there is a problem related to Maya being on other partitions than C:

In the meantime here is a simple workaround.

Create a text file in your D:\Maya\modules directory.
Call it OVDB.mod.

Paste the below lines in that file:

+ OVDB any C:/path/to/OVDB
plug-ins: plug-ins/maya2017_win
MAYA_CUSTOM_TEMPLATE_PATH +:= viewTemplates
ARNOLD_PLUGIN_PATH +:= arnold/mtoa_2.0_and_up_win/2017/shaders/
MTOA_EXTENSIONS_PATH +:= arnold/mtoa_2.0_and_up_win/2017/extensions/

Replace the path to your OVDB in the first line. Notice the slashes, but not backslashes.
This will do it.

Thanks.
