Hey guys,

I was wondering whether there were any specifics to installing this? I hooked up the module and it's finding the plug-in fine.

Once I try to load it I get:

Code:

// Error: line 1: Unable to dynamically load : P:/NETRENDER/maya_shared/maya_shared_2016_64/modules/ovdb/maya/maya2016/plug-ins/OpenVDB.mll

So unfortunately I can't load the plug-in. I'm loading the Maya 2016 plug-in for Maya 2016 Extension 1 + SP4 on Windows 7.

Should be fine?

Nevermind, looking in another topic I saw you'd need the Arnold "ai.dll" file.

Can somebody summarize what is the difference (if there is) between this OpenVDB plugin and the original code which is available on the official site?

AFAIK current arnold mtoa version is support OpenVDB. So what is the deal with that plugin in connection with Arnold?

The download package for this seems to be missing some of the shelf icons...

Nice presentation on how OpenVDB works. (programmatically) with some practical uses toward the end.

Is the supported Maya versions for the tool correct? I cant see any .bundle builds for OSX in there.
