Hello,

I've just downloaded and installed:

Latest build: 2016/06/01
Supported operating systems: Linux, Windows, OSX
Supported Maya versions: 2015, 2016

My stats:

Maya 2015 SP 6
Win 7

I've followed the four step install guide in the readme.txt. When I launch Maya the shelf loads but no icons appear and when I try to manually load the plugin I get the following error:

# Error: line 1: name 'soup' is not defined
# Traceback (most recent call last):
# File "<maya console>", line 1, in <module>
# NameError: name 'soup' is not defined #
# Error: line 1: name 'soup' is not defined
# Traceback (most recent call last):
# File "<maya console>", line 1, in <module>
# NameError: name 'soup' is not defined #

Have I possibly missed a step or is there a conflict with my version of Maya?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Laura

Let's go step by step.

Unzip the Maya2015_win plugin and try to manually load it in Maya.
If this does not work then we have a bigger problem.

If that works, then use the Maya shelf edit menu to point to the soup_shelf.mel and install it.
It looks like on some setups copying the file manually to the prefs directory makes Maya unhappy.

Tried and I get the following error:

Sorry, I should have tired this first. Deleted my prefs and tried re-installing and it worked. Sorry again for the wasted time.

Cheers,
