Small bugfix in the point node.

EDIT: and a small bug in the rayProject node. The minDistance attribute has not minimum value of 0.

That's all folks.

Thanks Peter.

I notice that there are two flavors of the linux builds. This may be a dumb question (and my excuse is I only recently switched to linux) but what is the functional difference between the gcc and the other compile?

I fixed this shortly after the announcement.
The updated archive does not have that.

I updated my build environments, newer OSs etc.
This created couple of workflow snags recently.

I updated the archive again for minor tweak in the rayProject node.
Stopping with this every day little tweaks practise now. Promise. :)

Quote: Facing issue to pipe below nodes in Linux [Centos 6.5] maya 2016.

Here I am passing pfx leaf position in to the point node to get random index id. Which works perfect in maya 2016 with windows system. But while it comes to the Linux system it says unable to get wightPP/positionPP out from the point node. Is this something to do with SOuP Linux compiled version?

Hi Peter,

Just want to confirm If the Point node bugfix is about this report.

Yes.

Thanks for this build Peter. The previous one was giving some issues on certain linux machines (dlopen: cannot load any more object with static TLS) which seems to have been fixed now. Looks like it was gcc compile flags related. Have you switched to a newer gcc version since the last release?

Hi Peter,

I've noticed that the new build creates two transform nodes when the plugin loads. They are called "rbds" and "constraints". Would it be possible to not have that happen?

Hmm, that's strange.
Anyone else having this issue ?
Just tried it on linux maya2016.5

Yes, I see this on Maya 2016.5 Linux as well (CentOS 6.4).

This was one obscure problem for sure.
Anyway, not sure how this happened but i suspect it was a permission issue - some files didn't get updated when moved the main repository to a new NAS drive.
Fixed now. Archive updated. Give it a try.
