tetrahedralize
New node that performs delaunay tetrahedralization on arbitrary point cloud.
If input mesh is provided the tetrahedralization will be constrained to it.
Check the example scene.

smooth
Fixed bug that caused unpredictable results (crashes Maya on Windows) when painting deformer weights and deformer operates on subset of the components.

shatter
Previous version of the node used brute-force method to determine neighbour points that caused severe slow-down with lots of points. This new version uses voronoi diagram to determine the neighbour points which boosts performance tremendously. For example - on the same scenes the old now needs 221 seconds to fracture the geometry, the updated code needs only 21 seconds.
The more the points the bigger the performance difference.

Very nice. Thanks Peter! Can't wait to give thetetrahedralizer a try. Sounds very useful.

Love the fact that you went back and reworked the old shatter node Peter! Thumbs up :)

Yes, great, thanks for that!

BTW - would it be possible to make the points generated by the scatter etc. visible in the Viewport 2.0? Thanks!

Uhm... when I open up the examples for the shell node i get pretty weird stuff in my scene. Here's a screenshot of shell3.ma

That's nice, but not, what I would expect ;) This is Maya2015 btw

You need to apply some UVs to the geo going into the inMesh of the shell node. Here's the thread. http://soup-dev.websitetoolbox.com/post/shell-node-workflow-6017013?&trail=30

Fracture generator cause crash on Maya 2014 and 2015 on WIN and OSX, see the attach file. I think this is an old bug not directly related whit this release.mb Fracture Crash.mb

Turn off the "create shader" option. Also the process takes a lot of memory. But it shouldn't.
I will take a look at the code and see if something can be done.
I tweaked the options in "image file conversion" section and things went much smoother the second time.

I would say - use the scatter+shatter nodes - it takes 5 seconds to shatter the object.
Attaching you the scene.
