Hey guys,

Has anyone else had an issue where setting keyframes on alembic node attributes such as offset or breaking the connection and keying time causes Maya to crash in parallel evaluation mode? This works 100% fine in DG mode. I have tried making separate attributes and using expressions or math nodes to hook them back up to Offset or Time and they still crash.

What Maya version and OS ?

Maya 2016 SP6 on windows 7. 

I have noticed it doesn't crash in 2017, but all workarounds seem to crash Maya in 2016.

- Setting keys on offset or time crash as soon as you scrub timeline.
- Connecting an animCurveTT node to the time on alembic node is stable for a while but seems to crash eventually.
- Creating any attribute on the rigs COG then connecting that to time or offset also makes it crash.

Is it Possible to override specific nodes to evaluate in DG mode? can I set alembic node to evaluate in DG but everything else in parallel?

FIXED: So apparently what causes these crashes are the GPU override option on parallel evaluation mode. once that is off everything works fine
