Ah! Thank you! I never used openVDB before, I'll look into it.

What I am trying to mimic is the differential curve growth in houdini (https://vimeo.com/199438219). I saw plenty of houdini sample online but I wonder if there's a equivalent workflow for this in Maya.

Maybe I can somehow do a curve to vdb and convert it back to curve in this case.
