Awesome initiative! I can chip in as well with any example scene files if necessary.

still working on the formatting but whatever the information is first importance.

Thanks a lot Dave.

Btw, i foresee a problem here. It will be hard to keep the page up to date. How we go about that ?
Or we rely on the hope that from time to time we will have somebody updating the scenes list in the wiki ?

probably the only way is to have at least few guys partially supporting the wiki.

Yeah I think it has to be a community supported doc system. There's no way you or any one person would be able to do that for any amount of time. Hence the wiki as a great format. I can see it going out of date for a few months then getting updated. But that's fine, its better than the alternative, almost no docs, right?

Oh an another thing I thought of for the docs eventually. the I/O of each node, what type of information does it take and spit out. Sometimes thats obvious other times not.

Twiki is a great idea. From the beginning I discussed with Peter how to make the docs open to the community, I dont know why I didnt think of this. I will definitely help update the docs where needed.

spent some time this morning doing the scatter node:

check it out, edit as you see fit (better know what you're talking about ;)
I didn't know what "contained" check box does in the projections section.

the wiki formatting I'm using is basically
bold and indented
===Node name===
::'''attributes group'''
:::'''attribute''' description
::::'''sub attribute'''  description
here's more information on wiki formatting
just make sure you have 1 space after the end bold ''' before the description.
