hi peter.

I found a problem. The computeVelocity node and the arrayToPointColor node also have this VertexColors to texture tool. They can not be used on topological changes in the grid. Such as bifrost export abc with a vertex color grid. There are realflow derived abc with channel information grid.

Or that they can not be used in the topology of the grid, this is not a bug?

computeVelocity requires consistent point count and order over time to produce the correct results. If you think about it - there is no way around it, unless you provide the mapping, which can be from moderate to very tricky task.

Is it information to provide UV?
Realflow derived abc can take UV and speed as well as vortex information, I try to extract this information and then use the arrayToPointColor node, but the prompt error.

Velocity vectors usually come with the blob of data from RealFlow.
So you don't have to compute them live in Maya.
You need to inspect the ABC file and see which channels provide what data.
Then connect the corresponding multi attributes to the Maya nodal networks.

I put bifrost the abc file into it after it comes with some speed information.
When I use this VertexColors to texture tool to convert the speed information on the abc into a map, I failed, the converted map without any information.

I will be realflow derived abc grid into maya, it has the speed of information and map uv information, I use soup node to extract them, and then converted into color, but I failed.
Do you know how to do it?
