hi peter!
Is there any way to make bifrost grid color mix?
For example, two colors of liquid, one blue, the other is red, they are mixed together, into a yellow liquid.
My idea is to use this kdTree node. Let all the particles perform the most recent particle search. After the color conversion with vdb particle velocity information is passed to the grid, we blend the converted color to the grid.
But there is a key issue where we need an array of colors to blend the conversion nodes. Maya has a color blend conversion node, but it is not an array type.
Do you have any better way to do bifrost liquid color mixing method?
thank peter!

i did it by setting different densities on the emitters, which does not really affect the look of the sim. So it is a nice hack.

Unfortunately this density data only gets fetched with the bifrostMaterial and hence you would need to use MR to render.

So what i did was to use openVDB to transfer the density data to the mesh as vertexColors.
There are videos in the YT-channel covering this workflow for the motionVectors....
